A consultancy has many expectations from its clients.  Many years ago we looked at why we were successful.  While it is true that "technically proficient" consultants may get the job done, it was not associated with the true success we had in the marketplace.

People

Our consultants are the beginning, middle, and end  key component of every solution.  Decypher's recruiting strategy is to attract and hire the smartest consultants that understand the importance of our core values and love working in a professional culture.  During recruiting we actively look for these traits in all that we hire.  In addition each candidate goes through multiple interviews and background checks before an offer is approved.

Process

Believe it or not, we have competitors that drop their consultant's off at the client site and come back months later.  While this is an extreme, we still see our competitor's not putting the focus on effective management of the processes and milestones for project success.  Decypher is different.

Each assignment we undertake starts with an assessment and baseline project plan creation.  Each consultant has a defined team that includes a program and project manager and the ability to pull-in other consultants as necessary to tackle difficult problems.  A process-driven, web-enabled toolset is accessible by all consultants to help them manage project milestones and risk.
