Decypher is looking for interns this summer. It will be a difficult but rewarding opportunity to learn about the industry and interact with some of the best clients in the world.

At Decypher, we value our students and believe that we have a responsibility to help the next generation of security and IT professionals. As part of our effort in this regard we have started an internship program. The purpose of our internship program is provide professional development opportunities to motivated undergraduates who desire a career in cyber security, transformation and cloud industries. Student interns will work on real projects for real clients – we want our student interns to gain real-world experience. Students will work on projects such as deploying intrusion prevention, penetration testing, incident response, cloud deployments, process automation, and system support and maintenance.

In addition to the real world experience, we mentor our interns on professional work/life skills and provide topical training. We assist and train our interns in topics such as resume building, workplace professionalism, presentation skills, and current events.

Our program is eight (8) weeks long and is open to second-semester college freshmen and higher. We will have a very limited number of spots for graduating high school seniors and first-semester college freshmen. All candidates must apply and interview for the opportunity. Candidates will be assessed for the suitability in the program. The successful candidate will have normally have a 3.0 overall GPA, however exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis. While students majoring in Computer Science, Information Systems, and Information Assurance are desirable, other Sciences majors will be considered based on their backgrounds.

Good luck!
